Many of us live too much in our heads, over-thinking and anxious. Over time, we’ve become disconnected from our bodies, only hearing when it cries for attention with pain or illness.
On top of all that, I believe many of us have become increasingly detached from our natural habitat; the earth.
We spend too much time indoors, inactive. We don’t make time to walk among the trees, barefoot, with the sun on our face. We don’t make time to feel the wind in our hair, or to gaze up at the stars. We’ve lost our connection to the moon and the seasons. However, we are animals, dependent on this connection to survive and thrive, to be healthy and content.
Thankfully, all is not lost.
